…and the majority of the responses to TopDesk have been positive, which is great to see. On the flipside, users have reported several bugs, which isn’t so good to see. However, given the nature of the software and the number of different hardware and software configurations out there, I’m pleased that there’s a relatively small number of issues, and that they require relatively minor fixes.
Apart from bugs, users have mainly requested additional features and minor tweaks to the way things work. Hopefully this means that, in general, they’re happy with the way TopDesk does things, and that we’re on the right track towards a building a really useful application.
We’re currently looking to release an update to v1.3 next week, unsuprisingly called v1.3.1, that will address the current crop of bugs and tweak the layout algorithm to make it more predictable. Stay tuned for more information…
Yeah, but I can’t seem to get through all the PayPal baloney to buy your product. Can I mail you a check? I hate PayPal. I registered my credit card years ago and they don’t have any functionality to update the expired date. I could have designed a TopDesk in the time it has taken me to try and wrestle with PayPal. Other online credit card companies aren’t this bad.
John,
I know PayPal sometimes isn’t the easiest online payment option, but at the moment it’s all we’ve got. We’re looking at other payment solutions, but probably won’t have anything implemented for the next couple of months.
